Shotti, NYC - Empathy is at the forefront of my practice. As a portrait photographer, I feel that it is important to reimagine how my subject defines personal beauty. I often find myself capturing the unconventional, uncertain and uneasy aspects of human nature. My process relies heavily on connecting with my subject on an emotional level, and through this connection, I am able to get an insight on our shared experience.
